college day. a total bore. more about that some other time.
marissa's birthday party. made me realise how much i miss being a kid. to have so little worries in life, so little workload, so little emotional stress, so little everything, and yet you can get away with murder. i miss birthday parties where we play games and win prizes. my maturity level have increased, but i yearn for that day once a year where i'm surrounded by my family and blowing candles on a birthday cake. yes, the birthday cake. the highlight of a birthday. i miss birthday cakes. when you get too old, birthday cakes with a number of candles that equals to your age are to be left behind long ago. but that child in you will emerge and the craving for that little something skyrockets high. its sad. growing up is not really fun. birthdays comes and passes by. that special day isnt really special anymore. maybe i think on my birthday, i'll get a small cake, and squeeze 17 candles onto it. then maybe i'll relive the small kiddy days where blowing a couple of candles was hard. this time round, it'll be 17 candles. it might be hard, but there's this simple joy in getting frustrated when the candles cant seem to be blown out. to be a kid once again...
whats in in for being a teenager anyway? whats so good about it? theres nothing wonderful.
i'll give 10 bucks to anyone with a good substantial answer. and i seriously think that no one will get even a cent from me.

Have you seen my childhood?
Im searching for the world that I come from
cause Ive been looking around
In the lost and found of my heart...
No one understands me
They view it as such strange eccentricities...
cause I keep kidding around
Like a child, but pardon me...
People say Im not okay
cause I love such elementary things...
Its been my fate to compensate,
For the childhood Ive never known...
Have you seen my childhood?
Im searching for that wonder in my youth
Like pirates in adventurous dreams,
Of conquest and kings on the throne...
Before you judge me, try hard to love me,
Look within your heart then ask,
Have you seen my childhood?
People say Im strange that way
cause I love such elementary things,
It’s been my fate to compensate,
For the childhood I’ve never known...
Have you seen my childhood?
Im searching for that wonder in my youth
Like fantastical stories to share
The dreams I would dare, watch me fly...
Before you judge me, try hard to love me.
The painful youth I’ve had
Have you seen my childhood....
